Called The Universe Cascade, it has 25 landings that mark the important shifts in cosmic history. Starting at the top, in the present day, and descending down, visitors are moving through 13 billion years of cosmic evolution. The steps finally disappear into the dark water below, which represents the mystery of the origin of the universe.

30 Day Running Challenge
Currently, Allyson and I are on day 6. (We skipped day 4..) Our routes mainly entail streets that lead into La Jolla, as it is a neighborhood we are most familiar with and do not mind running along late at night. Our goal is to eventually run TO campus loop, and then RUN campus loop itself for a total of 7 miles! We have 30 days to finish building up our endurance, speeds, and cardio.
Coming from a girl who hates running, hasn’t taken PE since middle school (marching band was considered my high school PE), and only enjoys pilates, running is HARD. I am still slightly sore from our midnight run last night.
BUT more than anything, I’m really excited! Spent 3 hours mapping out the rest of our paths for the rest of the 3 weeks. After the 30 days, we will be rewarding ourselves with The Color Run (5k marathon), coming to San Diego in November!! ^-^v
